At first I honestly thought that this book had some connection to Angelfire; that it was like a sequel or something. However it has no relation whatsoever, different authors.
The book has superpowers, gods, and a boarding school, so its on my list. What is it with boarding schools? I don't know!! But every book that has a boarding school in it I have to check out. What about you?
Books that have used the boarding school thing to their advantage: Vampire Academy, Evernight, The Gemma Doyle series, among many others. And it seems to work for them...
