Say what?! Richelle Mead has a new series coming out?! Gameboard of the Gods (Age of X #1)!

Okay, so I am trying really hard to calm down but it is proving to be a hard task since I just found out that one of my top 5 authors of all time, Richelle Mead, is coming out with A BRAND NEW SERIES!!!!! Calm breaths, breathe in and out, in and out.

Okay so the cover isn't a big hit, but what matters is what is between the pages. When it comes to Richelle covers aren't that important, what is important is the material.

Also, she is tackling GODS. Mythological GODS? I don't really know, but I can DREAM! Here's a blurb:

"Gameboard of the Gods, the first installment of Richelle Mead’s Age of X series, will have all the elements that have made her YA Vampire Academy and Bloodlines series such megasuccesses: sexy, irresistible characters; romantic and mythological intrigue; and relentless action and suspense."

So sure they are trying to get the YA audience to follow miss Read into this spanking new Adult series (about 99% sure it's an Adult series) but oh my god who wouldn't?! I read her Georgina Kincaid adult series and it was super good. I mean nothing can really beat Vampire Academy but I will bet my left ear lobe that Gameboard of the Gods is going to undoubtedly have a strong heroine, drop dead gorgeous men, incredible/hilarious narratives... basically the trademarks that make up a Richelle Mead book.

And the main character is a MAN! With a kick ass woman as a companion, but I believe that all previous titles by Richelle have been mainly from a feminine POV, so this is bound to be interesting.
